The pure uncontaminated town of Baranello, are born the Gualterra Cellars, with a purpose to obtain high quality wine, from the expression of the land of origin, of the vineyards situated in different areas, the intention is to take advantage of the soil potentiality, the exposure, the close mountain influence and the thermal excursions. To recuperate the abandoned land. Our vineyards in a hilly territory between 650/700 meters above sea level, surrounded by a chain of mountains in which the Matese massif. The influence of the mountains it guarantees strong thermal excursions determined to have a good concentrated substance of aromatic grapes. The soil is made of calcareus and clayey with underlying aquifers, draining and bridling avoiding harmful water logging to the plants, releasing the right amount of humidity, maintining the soil fresh and humid especially in summer. In the vineyard there is a constant and careful work. The maintenance is mostly done by hand to obtain a high quality grape.

the TINTILIA

It is the top wine of the Molise wine heritage which it is obtained the homonymous autochthonous vine “TINTILIA”, a rustic vineyard that resists the cold Molise winters. It is not very vigorous and it characterized by a rather low productivity, when the grape is ripe it is a bluish black color, it has a good aroma and it gives a ruby red wine with violet reflection. The obtained wines are structured and consistent, characterized by elegant spicy notes that blend in with hints of red fruits, a full taste with a persistent presence of tannin that are always elegant but not aggressive. A wine to be valued during a meal with important first dishes, and with main dishes of red meats, grilled meats, cheeses and aged cold cuts.

Pure Wine obtained from a careful manual selection of Tintilia grapes grown in a hilly territory at about 700 meters above see level.
The composition of the soil, the exposure of the vineyards, the influence of the Matese mountains, the strong temparature ranges and a careful maceration in contact with the its skin ,gives this wine a great expression of aromas and perfumes,elegant and intense scents, a tannin velvety component,with the right balance between freshness and softness.

ROSE'

Rosè wine is characterized by the process of wine making from pure white Tintilia grapes, grown in a hilly territory at about 700 meters above see level, picked and selected rigorously by hand. The composition of the soil, the exposure of the vineyards, the influence of the Matese Mountains, the strong temperature ranges give this wine a great aroma expression, freshness and sapidity.

SAUVIGNON
DEL MOLISE DOP
WHITE

Wine obtained from Sauvignon grapes cultivated in Hilly territories at about 700 meters of altitude and cold macerated in steel.
The color is of a straw yellow with gold reflections. The aroma is characterized by exotic fruits, grapefruit and peach.
At the taste it reconfirms the same aroma and it explodes its freshness and sapidiity. It goes well with fish and white meats.
